This is my cat, Andy. I took him in as a feral kitten eight years ago. He's been a great cat. Sadly, he seems to have cancer in some of his organs - liver, abdomen, pancreas. He doesn't seem to…Continue

Any pictures to post of your kitties under the tree?
Oh, so sweet! I just arrived back home after spending a few days at Mom's with her three kitties. Mama Kitty is quite old now and not walking too well. Mom has rigged up the perfect stair system so Mama Kitty can get up to her favorite spot on the twin bed in the main room. First there's an enormous stiff puffy pillow, then the footstool of the recliner, then the recliner cushion and, then the bed. Oh, happiness!
She always crosses her paws like a little lady. The cutest thing.
Kelli, I'm so sorry to hear about your sick kitty. We lost my Mom's cat Moon a few weeks ago. She just lost her appetite and went very quickly. She was 15 years old and had a wonderful life with her own Mama Kitty and my Mom taking care of her.
My advice to you would be to spare taking your cat to the vet and let him enjoy his time with you - until you feel he is hurting. You certainly have my sympathies! It's never easy towards the end.
Thanks, Lorna
I lost a cat to lymphoma about a year and a half ago too and I was taking him to an oncologist every week the last eight months at $350 a week, not including medication, and he still continued to deteriorate. Now with this cat they want to do the same thing. I'm up in the air if I want to put the little guy through the torture of going to the doctor every week and draining my bank acct just to see him continue to lose weight. I'm beginning to think only the vet is winning in this situation. Maybe I should just make him comfortable and let him live out the rest of his days till I can tell it's time to put him to sleep. I just don't know what to do....
Kelli, I am sooo, sooo sorry. I know how much I love my cats, and I've lost a couple to leukemia...it's heartbreaking. Wish I could give you a hug.
My poor kitty has lymphoma and keeps losing weight. Chemo I guess is not working. Very sad.
Just hit on "image" which is the second box over after "link" and then search where you have the picture. Both of these little guys below are rescues. They're lots of fun. That's my favorite picture of them.
Too cute, Kelli! The one looks something like our Maine Coon. I'll try to post more pics of her, if I can figure out how this works ;-)
