Jenny, can your Sound Professionals mic work off of a USB hub?  Mine can't and has to be put directly into the computer USB to work.  I'm running out of USB ports and only have three on my laptop.

You caught me being a night owl, Jenny ;)  I'm taking tomorrow off from work as the little munchkin is under the weather and I'm going over there to watch her tomorrow.  My daughter is under strict orders to be my alarm clock! 

Getting your message and coming back here, I'm soooo tempted to reply to a post here that got me totally irritated before.  I did write a reply, hemmed and hawed for 20 minutes (yeesh!) and then deleted it.

Would enjoy talking with you any time.  Joined CSR Nation and figuring out how to use it.  This is very new to me -- blogs, comment walls, profiles.  Not sure the classified section will be an effective place to advertise for scoping and proofing. 

Dragon has been installed here, and I am about to create the user profile.  Have been in touch with Dessa at Eclipse.  She is willing to mentor me on training and preparing for the VCR exam in June!   Dessa trains US Marines to be voice writers in the military.  I remain optimistic.
