Hi Everyone,

I am currently a freelance reporter.  I've been a reporter for 21 years.  I was thinking of adding scoping to my workload to get a little extra work that I can do from home.  Is there anyone out there willing to answer a few questions for me (not on the public website) so I can figure out maybe where to start as far as rates, CAT conversion, et cetera.  I would really appreciate any help.  The software I use is ProCAT, and there doesn't seem to be much on here about ProCAT.  It seems everyone is on Case CAT.  Thanks in advance for any help anyone is willing to offer.  You can email me at Danonna1@verizon.net.

Thanks again.

Hi, Donna.  I am a ProCat freelance reporter, and I'd be happy to talk to you about this, as I have been using scopists for a long time now.  There is an extreme shortage of Procat scopists, so you could probably get a lot of work.  I don't know how old this post is.  I was looking for the proofreader page and came across this, and I wanted to respond.  Good luck to you, and I'll send you an email!  Terri
