Wade is one smart cat!  Here he is snoozing in the shade on a hot day.  I call this one "Wade in the Shade."

April sent me a pic of her cat Wiley taking a snooze.  It cracks me up every time I look at it, so I made it my Eclipse splash picture.  If you are on Eclipse and would like to change your splash screen to something other than the Eclipse logo, read e-Tip #80: http://kvincent.com/html/e-tips.html 

Sometimes I need to be cheered up a bit before I start working.  Am I the only one?

Susan, you are so right about cats and napping.  That Wade is a total lap cat.  He was another stray who wandered into Mom's yard several years ago, and he has turned into the most cuddly companion!

I just posted a pic I took last week when I was staying with Mom while reporting some realtime depos in Menlo Park. I'm so lucky she lets me stay over! She and Wade were sleeping soundly when I took my first pic, which woke them both up! Then I snapped this one. They are the cutest!

Oh, that Grumpy Cat!  I think I'd be a nervous wreck trying to please him all day long.  April's cat Wiley is a purebred British Shorthair.  He is super sweet.

Welcome, Susan!  "So many cats, so little time!"  So true.

I'll post a pic of me with my reporter sister April's armful of love, Wiley.  He has the softest fur!  Yes, he looks a bit demonic in this pic, but that's just because I don't know how to remove red eye yet.  That's on my list ...
