Old-fashioned transcript proofreader with more than 20 years' experience is available to a court reporter that needs help with work overflow (I currently work for two West Coast reporters, but not getting enough consistently steady work). Experienced in regular, same-day and next-day turnarounds (depositions and trials, but have recently concentrated primarily upon accident or personal injury depositions).  Industry experience includes pharmaceutical, construction, LAOSD asbestos cases, California & Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation and federal cases (SSA, US Tax Court, and DOJ).  I proof from PDF or Notepad files, perform online research for verification and quality assurance, maintain running word lists for each case, and provide simple errata sheets of corrections and queries.

Rates (for 25 lines) are:  .75 per page for expedites & real-time – ASAP & same-day turnaround; .60 per page for rush jobs – 24 hours; .50 per page for regular or standard jobs – 48+ hours; and there is no additional charge for weekends. Zelle direct deposit is my preferred payment, but I also use Venmo, Google Pay and PayPal.  If interested, please contact pascribe721@gmail.com.
