What is your occupation?: court reporter and scopist

I began my reporting career in 1985 in Wisconsin and passed the California CSR exam on the first attempt in 1988. I have been hired to travel to and report in Taiwan, Switzerland, and France (twice). Since March of 2020, I have been covering depositions via Zoom platform only. Recently, I have begun scoping for other reporters on days I do not have a deposition myself. I am on StenoCat software, the latest version. Note: I prefer to work via the Stenovate.com platform in order to keep all my transcripts on an "assembly line," so to speak. If you're looking for more work, don't forget to hit on the Cover Depos tab on the top of the main page, hit the red dot on the map where you'll cover work, and then click on the tab to "Join the Group." Once you do that, your email address will be saved with everyone else's email address and you'll receive email blasts of jobs in your area. You just contact the agency directly from the email with their contact info.
