God love me, but I discovered the wonders of aoem today. That would be e-mail.

When you've got those depos when they're introducing every e-mail in the world the deponent has ever written as an exhibit, I guarantee you this will save you a thousand strokes.

Also, do you ever have those great days and they just pop out w/this random word and you're like, whoa, and it actually comes up when you stroke the word? Love it when that happens and I impress myself and sit and bask in wonder at my bodaciousness.

Yes, it's all about patting myself on the back on the good days. This is a hard profession and when you're writing 99% accuracy, that still means you're missing 1% and that can be a lot of words. And we reporters, I think, have a tendency to focus on the 1% when you should give yourself a moment to enjoy that 99 % and think, good job, I am bad ass!!!

So my friends, give yourself a little love today and be proud of your accomplishments whether it be coming up with a great brief on the fly, remembering to incorporate a great brief, or translating some truly heinous word that you did not even realize was in your dictionary.
