Deposition Nightsmares (the kind you have when you're asleep not the other kind)

I had a nightmare last night.

I dreamt that I was setting up for a deposition. It was a round table. But for some reason I couldn't get the electrical plug to stay put in the back of my Stentura. I kept plugging it in upside down, rightside up, it wouldn't stay. It was like it had two ends that plugged into the electrical outlet and no end to plug into the machine.

Then I was trying to get people's name. When I would write on the card, my pen would stop working. I kept going around the table asking people's name. When I finally got everybody's name, I came back to my seat and somebody was sitting in it. When I told them, that was my seat, they told me I could sit behind the people at the table. I told her that wasn't possible because I needed to be at the table to see everybody's lips and hear what they were saying.

Well, she moved but she was in a huff. Then I realized that people up against the wall were also part of the proceedings and I needed to get their information too. At this point, I was kind of freaking out, but then realized it was a dream and decided to wake up.

I often have deposition nightmares and feel so relieved when I wake up and realize that it's all a dream. My whole body relaxes and I feel so happy and unstressed I feel almost giddy.

Again, tho, that Mojopac.com it is software. It creates your computer on a storage device...just need a flash drive, from how I read it. I have a plug and play 40gb storage for my photography, but I believe it works with a USB flash storage.....thinking you have a flash drive sitting somewhere?? LOL! ;)

Very cool stuff! I don't even have an iPod though, so those things will have to wait. The tablet, wow, I'd be able to carry just about everything in one bag! Like you, I *need* my supplies tote, and I also carry around a label maker for exhibits. I really love that, so I won't be able to get down to a shoulder bag only.

Oh, well, can't afford a tablet anyway right now.

Hey, have you ever heard of Mojopac.com??? I keep this on a separate portable storage device now and I will 'always' have an extra computer with me! Is SO cool!!! Is 'free' also!! Check it out! :)

And I just got the Gemini Revolution and it works with a tablet...so that pretty much stays packed, and my laptop stays home now, lol. Might be an idea for you and the LS tho?? The tablet is quite cool. A mini laptop! Tablet Kiosk....

Thanks, Rho. I do look back and laugh now -- and think *whew* at least that's over! Kind of like having chicken pox. Happens once and never again! ;)

That also works for computer power cords. Leave it home once and you're on the phone for a second one the minute you get home!

Oh Brenda! {{HUGS}} I will be sure to stick to my leaving an hour before, that usually gives me an extra half hour.

I fear leaving my blue Case button home! I keep an old green manual in my trunk...but probably not enough paper, lol. Could flip it over??? Not sure I could work too well with it! but would look good! ;) would be slowing them down, I am thinking....

You know what cures that nightmare?

Showing up without your machine! ACK! Thankfully, I was early enough to run home and get it and be only 10 mins late -- and the attys *still* weren't ready for me!

I've had that nightmare before too where I don't have my machine. Even now, as I 'm driving down the road, I will reach back and make sure my writer case is there.
