loosing count of my Revolution days....

I am just LOVING it though!!! I can carry it without that rolly cart! :) It is quick to set up now. I am still getting used to the tablet/pen, but still don't want my laptop back, lol. I can relable things/etc when I get home. Not much time to edit when there are only bathroom breaks, lol. my new bag should be here tomorrow, but I have to be at Grand Juriy torso won't see it until I get home. Sigh. I can't wait to see it!

But the machine is running smoothly. I don't seem to have any stacking. My E issue fixed when I adjusted the key after the first day I used the machine. But I am really loving the smoothness of the keys and the quietness and comfort. Of course, I have my leather key tabs on my keys, LOL.

Just wanted to give an update. . .

Thanks Jenny. Jason may offer the bag w/the Gemini possibly. :) He wanted to see the pics and my thoughts anyway, lol.

Very clever. I learned four different alphabets when I attended the Anita Paul Realtime Workshop in August of '05. Sometimes I choose the wrong one. A macro is a great way to take care of that. Your red bag pictures should be used by the bag company - what a great testimonial!

Ok, I just created one:
After I spell a name, I made a Macro to go back and take them to the proper cap first letter, small letters rest and insert hyphens. That is easier for my brain than doing hyphen letter spelling for each letter, lol. How is that??

Two screens?? You ARE creative! LOL! I have enough trouble on one! Yeah, we need to get a discussion going. I will try to get a pic!

Whenever there is a slight pause, I look at the top half of my split screen and hit TRUB which takes me to the previous untran or unresolved conflict. I may not be able to fix it at that moment, but that's okay. The bottom half of my screen is set to follow me always. So the next time there's a pause, I can deal with that trouble spot. Actually, this would make for a good discussion topic. Something like "How do you use your Realtime Macros?" or "Is it Really Worth Learning those Realtime Macros?" Maybe when you get a moment - ha! - YOU can start one, Rhoda!

I can't wait to see your red bag!!!

I don't seem to have "breaks" to do a define on a job though. . . Are you really that fast that you can define and keep going when they are not stopping their talking? I would love to watch you, LOL! Right now, I would rather do an un TRAN at home. I have macros set for editing; keyboard shortcuts. But I'm just not at a place to, think, even of what macros I would "want", LOL. I have a hard enough time getting "

whereupon there is a short pause in the proceedings..
Q. " pause, pause stroke
to come up and not get my mind in a bunch, LOL. Am I making sense? ? oh, I love my new bag too! It is so roomy! I have to take a picture and post it, LOL.

I'm really working on my RT macros as I want to competely eliminate my mini keyboard. I know there's no room for one of those on the Rev. Just reaching for the keyboard is more muscle strain for me. It's so much easier to hit a steno stroke and be able to fix the last untran. I don't know anything about your software, but I encourage you to learn a few more when you have the time. Oh, yeah - I know!!! How can we make time when there's so many forums to visit!!! And I haven't even started to work yet and it's almost 11:00!!! Anyway, thanks for your answers. It's really pushing me in the direction to upgrade - Jenny

Edit: Right side of the keyboard, LOL. I'm using my machine to write this so I can have issues sometimes, LOL.

Yes, I have been using those since my second semester in school, LOL. Can't live without my leather! I have a couple of macro's that I use. Mainly to insert includes or a parenthetical. no major ones that I can think of. I use an F-PB stroke to open F nine to get to my includes. Our theory has the alphabet on the ride side of the keyboard, so-PB is our N. I use that one quite a bit on Parole Boards as I am inserting the title pages.

Rhoda, this is such good news. Did you always have the leather key tabs on your previous Gemini? Do you use any RT macros where you edit from the writer only? I'm still learning mine in Eclipse. Keep the reports coming, Jenny
