Welcome to CSR Nation
Hello! I would like to RTF Catalyst files to an Eclipse scopist.
Has anybody been successful in that?

You will have formatting issues when you get it back from her. There's no way around it. Like the others I don't know why you'd want to go through the headache.
Thanks Laura!
Your friend is on CC and is sending you an RTF file to import and scope in Eclipse? It should be doable. I think that if there are formatting issues, most likely you'll be the one dealing with them after importing the CC RTF file, though I'm not saying absolutely you will have any. I haven't tried this, so I really don't know.
I don't think your friend will have trouble importing the RTF file from Eclipse you return to her. I have worked on trials with a CC reporter where I've given her my RTF file from Eclipse, she's imported it and applied her CC user format to the file, and it's worked great with very little tweaking to the final file. Things that I know don't transfer over into CC are title pages using Eclipse's case caption paragraphs and auto-index pages. CC doesn't know how to handle those.
Let us know how it works out for you.
I have heard that all the formatting issues make it not worth it.
I haven't done it in a while, but what I remember is that the formatting doesn't come out right with some paragraph styles. For example, centered lines appeared on the left with the {F} symbol appearing in the transcript. Maybe they have improved it since I've done it. If not, I wouldn't want to take the extra time to fix formatting issues.
Just helping a friend who needs some scoping…… I LOVE treadmill desk. I'm working on constructing mine this weekend. Such a great idea!
I RTF'd my dictionary in Eclipse. Have not done a job, though. Just curious why you don't use a CC scopist? Sure would be easier.
