Has anyone noticed that often you get an email regarding very enticing international work or heavy realtime work and the individual doesn't reach out to you when you have called?

Yes, I agree with Monti as well. It appears that they get many, many responses, but it would be appropriate to let everyone know that they have either received their calls and/or email as a professional courtesy. What I find most interesting that as a reporter we are expected and should respond to phone calls and urgent requests immediately, but the same does not always to apply to many agencies.

If you are talking aobut that email that went out today for the international job.....the agency is on the West Coast...you have to call during their business hours. I called and was interested and then remembered that I couldn't go becuase that's the time I have to take my son to see all the colleges and decide on one before the cutoff. :( Sounds real good though......all expenses paid trip.

hello,
I have had that happen to me..
its probably because they get 30+ people call/email at the same time?
Best way for the agency is to immediately send a message to the group letting them know the job is covered.
