I got the wireless to work, but I keep getting the error message:

"This copy of BlueSoleil is not licensed and is not eligible to receive the full range of product support.  BlueSoleil is running in evaluation mode now and only 2MB data can be transmitted."

The solution provided in the accompanying instructions is that the USB adapter for the laptop and the writer are in the wrong slots and to switch them.  This message pops up every time I try to write wirelessly to my laptop even though I have the two little USB adapters correctly where they're supposed to be.  Then, as I'm in the middle of a job, I guess as I hit the 2MB point, the error message pops up again, and I lose communication between my laptop and writer.  Happened to me on two different jobs now, and it's quite annoying.  You know how patient lawyers can be when your equipment doesn't work or fails and it's beyond your control.

I didn't pay an extra $800 to have wireless that doesn't work!  Aaaarrrgh!

Does anyone else have this problem?  Please help me fix it or I'm going to have a massive coronary!

Thanks a bunch!

Quyen, are you on Eclipse?  I bet Marla Sharp can help you.  I'm on CC.
Yes, I'm on Eclipse.

That's what I thought.  I am pretty sure she is wireless.  I know she's on Eclipse.  I don't know what kind of writer she has.  She's excellent at technical stuff.

I'm still using my USB cable, LOL.

Congrats on your new writer.

Thanks, Janiece.  As much as I despise Stenograph, I have to admit the machine writes beautifully and effortlessly.  My untran rate is less than 1% now, between .4 and .6.

I was between 2 - 3% with the Flash, and around 1% plus or minus on a really good day.

Quyen, thank you for the positive review.  I went and tested one and I liked it.  Things are slow here so I can't justify buying one but when things pick up I'd like to get one.

Good luck on getting everything working the way you like.  It's such a struggle for me when I get something new, a computer or a new writer, just making sure everything is working the way it should.  It's stressful.

I just upgraded the software on my writer and even that was a pain in the neck.  It always takes a lot of time.....

I think Marla's on Stenocast.
