I've never reported an EEOC hearing.  Can somebody please tell me about them, what to expect, etc.?

In the past, I had done some EEOC hearings for an agency that had work with the USPS.  It was basically a mini arbitration/trial, if you will.  One judge, claimant, respondent.  They were all held in a conference room on site at the post office branch.  I imagine it would be similar for any entity where it's held in a conference room.  The judge/arbitrator was always very nice and helpful.  Usually they were pretty organized.  Not too awful crazy.  The judge got the original and each side took a copy.  They weren't bad.  They were pretty long, though.
Thanks for the info, Rachel.  How did you charge for them?  The same as an arb?  More?  Less?

I think it was arb/trial rates, but I can't remember exactly.  It's been some time, a couple of years.  I'm sure it was arbitration rates, though.

We get paid the same for hearings and arbitrations, so it would make sense that they'd be billed at the same rates.

Great.  Thanks, guys.
