Well, I am now in Theory III, trying to pass my 60 wpm tests. I am practicing everyday and feel like I am doing well, but when it's time for the test I cannot get in the "zone" that I get in when we are just writing to regular dictation. We don't test until 8:30 p.m. to 9ish and I'm pretty worn out by then. Full day at work and then straight to school! If anyone has any helpful tips I would absolutely try anything. Do you think I should be practicing at 80 wpm in my spare time so that I can be more prepared for 60 wpm? Thanks to all! :)

I, personally, think it is good to go up above the speed you're trying to get, hang on and get as much of it as you can, and then go back down to the speed you're trying for. It will feel slower. Relax into the speed. If you tighten up, you lose speed. Train yourself to relax your arms, hands, fingers, even when someone is talking fast. It works.

Of course! :)
Yes, practice at 80. But always end your practice at something you can actually get every word. That way you don't end feeling bad about yourself.
You all are great! Thanks for the tips! :)
