Failure is an event not a person.  Yesterday ended last night.

The chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what you want most for what you want now.

I love this saying:

"I'm so optimistic, I'd go after Moby Dick in a row boat and take the tartar sauce with me."

I think this applies equally to women, of course:

Four things a man must learn to do
If he would make his record true:
To think without confusion clearly;
To love his fellow men sincerely;
To act from honest motives purely;
To trust in God and Heaven securely.

Try not to become a man of success but a man of value.

My husband and I have this "Wish Board" in my office and everything we want in life we put on that board. He put about 6 months ago a picture of this Cadillac SUV he wanted and the color and now he has it. We also have a picture of Tuscany on there and we have scheduled a trip in March.

Well, about three years ago I wrote on that board that my husband would be the Nunber 1 real estate agent in San Mateo in 2010. Well, now it is 2010 and our fingers are crossed that this really works.

After you have loved so much till you hurt, there will be nothing left in you but love....
