I'd love to see some pics of the Professor.  How nice that you have a friendly cat next door.  We have a scaredy cat from across the street.  I just look at him and he runs away!

Jenny, what a cute picture!  My first pet was a parakeet named Happy.  We soon got Papa Kitty.  We always had a cat and a dog.  I love both, but I'm more of a cat person.  I'll have to snap some pics of Professor von Steuben from next door.  He is enormous and also very friendly.  He's not fat.  He's just a big boy!

I remember taking this pic as if it was yesterday!  My reporter brother John and Minnie, a fabulous cat who lived at least 15 years.  Mom used to cut up beef liver for her dinner - her fur was super sleek.  She had that touch of red in her - so pretty!  Mom came home with Minnie and just let her wander in the house until my other brother Scot found her.  Fun!

My girlfriend has eight cats and is constantly rescuing cats all the time.  She is my hero.  Love this group!!

Kittens, purses, and ice cream to live on.  ;-)  Yes, Erma is solid black.  She's got a little gray coming in on the tips of her paws.

y, Boo, Clemmy, and the other names I didn't retain -- love them all!  One of my sisters gave me a birthday card a year or so ago that had little girls on the front holding kittens and purses.  It summed up that that's all we need, just kittens and purses.  I agree.  ;-)
