Tech support doesn't know why they are not moving.  It will say 11:22 over and over for about 10 minutes and it shows the job is an hour long when the job is three and a half hours long.

It's all messed up.  Job ended at 4:00 and timestamps show it ended at 1:32 p.m. or something.

Not sure how to fix this.  Help!!

Kelli,  have you tried to optimize the job and reset the timecodes?

I have not a clue how fix this error, but that would be something I would try.  You need an Eclipse brainiac like Jenny Griffin or Laura Renke.

When I called, the guy who I talked to was clueless.  He said I have to go in and manually change every single timecode individually.  Really?  This job is 200 pages and I'd have to change each one?  That will take me hours.  On top of that, I don't know what the correct time it should be.  I only know at the breaks when the videographer says what time it is.  It's impossible.

Tech support was rude.  I asked to speak to someone else and he would not let me talk to anyone else.  He said no one would know how to fix it.

I forgot how to optimize.  Been too long since I've done that.  How do you do it?  Do you remember?

In Version 4 the optimize tab is under File.  In Version 5, it's gone.

Retran the job, but remember to include the job dictionary.

Did you try retranslating the job?

The job was edited and I was in the middle of proofing it when I realized the timestamps were messed up.  I don't want to have to redo the job again.

I ended up turning the job in without timestamping.  Great to know I pay my $600 in tech support and then they're not helpful when I need it.
