This group is for Version 5 users to share what aspects of Version 5 they are using and why.....as well as requests for help as problems arise using Version 5.

I just downloaded Version 5 (a year after it came out), and I feel like I'm learning Eclipse all over again.

Would greatly appreciate input from other Version 5 users.

If you go one level up from your jobs folder to the Eclipse folder, you'll see a file called ecl5xxxdmp that contains the info about the crash you experienced. Please send that file to support with a description of what you were doing at the time of the crash. This is how bugs get fixed.

Comment by Christy Fagan, CRR, RMR, CSR on August 18, 2012 at 10:44: That happened to me and I had to download the Speex codec from the Eclipse website and then I could play audio on my desktop. It didn't make any sense that I could play it on my laptops but not my desktop, and that was it.

I get that error when I don't have my microphone plugged in. That never happened on Version 4, just 5. However, just this week I had an access violation as well but for the life of me I'd never be able to tell you what I was doing to get it.
