Eclipse Version 5 Users

This group is for Version 5 users to share what aspects of Version 5 they are using and why.....as well as requests for help as problems arise using Version 5.

I just downloaded Version 5 (a year after it came out), and I feel like I'm learning Eclipse all over again.

Would greatly appreciate input from other Version 5 users.

Kelli,

you could use V5 on a regular basis.....just turn off the features that bother you.  that's what I've done.

5.0.0.22 has been working really great for me, and I have spent several hours the past three days going through all my real-time macros and looking directly at the Bridge output so I can see what is refreshing immediately and what isn't.  I have tweaked a few of my RT macros as well and created some completely new ones.

Of course I am doing all of this partially as a distraction from getting my taxes done!

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing you in Monterey!  Make sure you look for me at the Infinity writer booth.

And if anyone wants additional Eclipse training between seminars, I am available for hire!

Wow, I'm a tad behind.  I don't care because I don't use V5, but for dailies I want to use it, so I want what's the best they have.  I think they have had a few bugs in the past.  Thanks, Jenny.

Look forward to seeing you in Monterey next weekend!!

Kelli, it's 5.0.0.22.  Yes, upgrade!  And get the latest Bridge version as well.

What's the latest version of 5?  I have .16 and I think they are up there more.  I saw it somewhere on here but now I can't remember where.  I may need to upgrade.

I will be at the Deposition Reporters Association's Monterey convention Feb. 24 - 26, mostly helping out at the Infinity writer booth.  I will have my Infinity Ergo with me.

On Friday, February 24, there will be CAT training seminars for Stenograph, Eclipse, ProCAT, Stenovations and StenoCAT between 3:00 and 6:00.

I'm also going to be available to do some one-on-one Eclipse training at my normal rate of $50 an hour, $25 for students.  So for those Eclipse users who will have their computers with them, and who feel like they need a bit of individual help - maybe regarding Eclipse Version 5 - contact me at jenlug@pacbell.net.

Does anyone know what Streamtext is?  I posted this question on Eclipse's forum and no response.....so I thought maybe one of you-all would answer me.
