Hi, Shelley.  I mean federal court as opposed to state district court. :)

Federal court is the same as district court as long as it's being referenced with USDC, "United States District Court."

Delicia Struss, I thought district court was the same as Federal. USDC. Is there a difference?

Hi there.  Just wanted to join the group b/c every time I see a federal officialship open, I'm tempted to apply.  But so far I'm remaining in district court.  I'm chicken.  So thought I might learn a few things here. :)

Hi, I'm wondering what it's like in the Brooklyn Eastern Federal Court, how busy it is, what are the hours like?  Just wondering.  thanks

Welcome, Sandra. Of course you are welcome to join our group. I worked in family court in New York City about ten years ago.

I am an official in the Juvenile Court of Fulton County, Georgia, and I would like to join the Federal Court Reporters' Group.

Charisse, I noticed that you were a member of the group. Please drop me a line away from the wall when you have a moment. Thanks all and Happy Halloween.

In the Central District of CA, we only hire reporters who write realtime. Management is moving toward only hiring reporters with realtime certification. We accept NCRA - CRR, USCRA - FCRR, and the State of California - CCRR.
