Are you pressed for time?

I understand! There are never enough hours in the day. If you are a busy court reporter who needs someone to proofread your transcripts, I’d be happy to provide that service for you. I have experience in reading and annotating several different forms of transcripts.  The verbatim word can be difficult to follow and punctuate, and by using the standard industry reference sources along with your specific preferences, I can help you present an accurate, readable transcript.  I offer prompt, courteous service along with reasonable rates.

If I can be of help to you, please contact me at Karen@precisionproofreadingservices.com, or you can visit my website for more information.

Are you looking for an extra set of eyes?

Possibly from a self-proclaimed “word nerd”?

That’s me! Cathy Jenquin, Transcript Proofreader for Court Reporters.

I have experience working with various types of transcript formats and proceedings. I proofread according to the concepts included in Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters, The Gregg Reference Manual, and Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells. I also realize and respect that each court reporter has their own unique process and preferences, and give those proper attention when developing our working relationship.

I have a flexible schedule, offer quick turnaround times, and am available for rush jobs. You can e-mail me at cmjcat@gmail.com with any questions you may have and for more information. I can provide you with a sample transcript and a rate sheet at your request.

I would love the opportunity to work with you and help put the finishing touch on your transcripts!

I have experience proofreading depositions, hearings, examinations under oath, and interpreted proceedings in accordance with reporter preferences. I also have experience proofreading court transcripts with technical, medical, construction, and legal terminology. I currently have one reporter that I work with regularly and two reporters that occasionally use me, and I would like to take on more clients.

I make corrections directly on a PDF of the transcript and return only annotated pages back via email. The first 20 pages are proofread free of charge for new clients. My turnaround is two days, but I can be available for rush proofreading.

Please visit www.grovesproofreading.com or email me at holly@grovesproofreading.com.

Are you looking for a reliable proofreader right now?

I am responsive and dependable, and I'm hoping to find one or two reporters with whom to build a long-term working relationship. I would also welcome inquiries about short-term or one-off projects.

I will work with you to ensure your final product is clean and readable on the first pass.

I work on PDFs returning clearly annotated pages. Gregg is my right-hand man, but please tell me your punctuation preferences; this is your document, so your choices are paramount.

Please contact me at ecwalker73@aol.com or take a look at my website, ecwalkerproofreading.wixsite.com/proofreader, for more information.

I look forward to working with you.
