I am seeking one more court reporter who is in need of a seasoned proofreader.  I read each transcript TWICE to give you a thorough and professional final product.  BA in English, with an obsessive eye for detail.  Fast turnaround.  I've been proofing since 1988!  References available.

Hi Laura, what time on Sunday do you need it back?  When can you send the job to me so I can start on it?  What timezone are you in?  I can correct right on screen in a PDF.  Fran Cook, 661-822-5165  fran.invest@yahoo.com  Accu-Proof Proofreading  Thanks Laura!

I am a proofreader with many years of experience in federal (Social Security and Tax Court) and PA state (Workers Compensation and Unemployment Compensation) transcripts.  I presently have Microsoft Office 2010, RealPlayer Plus 16, Windows Media Player, ExpressScribe (free download), and just added digitalCAT DC4 (beginner skill level).  I presently receive .40 per page for regular turnarounds and .60 per page for expedites, but my rates are negotiable.

I am a reporter of 24 years in the Midland/Odessa area. I recently had wrist surgery in May and have been unable to return to reporting. I am proofreading full-time and would like to add more reporters to my reporter base. I proof from a PDF and return only the pages that have been marked with corrections. Please shoot me an email at Debra.depos@gmail.com if you are interested in a proofreader. Rates provided on request.

Fran Cook with Accu-Proof Proofreading.  My routine rates of just reading and preparing Errata reports are .35 pp.  Expedite jobs with a 24-hour or less turn-around time are only .45 pp.  Currently, I type Errata reports with all line by line corrections and email a word and PDF back to the reporter, but by Aug 20th, I will be set up to do correcting within your PDF DEPO and email back the digitally marked DEPO.  It will have cross-throughs, circles, highlights, etc.  I can correct in whatever style you want me to.  Thank you!  Fran    fran.invest@yahoo.com

Willing to assist; rates are a $1.00 per page to listen to audio to proof to paper copy.
I have Window Media Player, if that will work for you.
How many pages and what is the deadline?
Please respond to janegproof@yahoo.com
Thanks Jane Goldberg

I am on Eclipse and do a lot of videotaped jobs.  I edit my jobs to the audio, but looking for a proofreader that will proofread and listen to the audio only when needed to check for accuracy.  I got 5 pages of corrections back from a proofreader that doesn't listen to the audio.  Most of them were not errors and if she would have had the audio to listen to, she would have realized that.  Not her fault, but realizing I need someone that will listen to the audio.  It took me a long time to go through all the corrections just to make sure.  It was a waste of time.   Please email me at bharr@sbcglobal.net with your rates and only if you proof and listen to the audio when necessary.  Thanks.
