I am a California CSR.  I am looking for a proofreader to proof 240 pages by Sunday evening. The material is very easy, non-technical depo language; however, the witness speaks in a conversational manner, so I would like this one proofed by another set of eyes.  (Lots of quotes.)If interested, please contact me at reporterkelly@gmail.com and include your rates for this specific job. Thank you so much!Kelly

In search of an excellent proofreader with years of experience who can turn work around within 24 to 36 hours at flat page rate.  I prefer to email transcripts in an PDF or ascii format and receive an errata sheet with corrections.

Please contact me at rjcallow@gmail.com with a description of your experience, references, turnaround time, and rates.  Must be able to work weekends, daily copy a plus.

Proofreader seeking clients.  My name is Sue Clover, and I am seeking proofreading clients.  I have spent the last several months learning the ins and outs of proofreading from a retired court reporter/current proofreader in the Denver area.  My mentor has declared me ready to run, and I am eager to begin.  My time is my own, so my turnaround can be quick, and my prices are reasonable.  Additionally, I have a BA in English, and have spent the past few years proofing and editing as a function of my job. As an introduction, I will proof your first 50 pages FREE. I can accept transcripts in .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt and other formats, and return them in the format of your choice.  I look forward to hearing from and working with many of you!  I can be reached at sclover@q.com.

Wanted:  one good full-time CC proofer with good turnaround, good attitude and doesn't mind getting advance notice on upcoming rushes and not get mad when they cancel or turn into nonrushes.

I am currently available for proofreading jobs. I generally receive transcripts in either PDF or text files, download and proof them, and then scan and email them back. I am fast and accurate and have reasonable rates. If you are looking for someone to help out short-term or to use as a steady reliable proofreader for multiple jobs I would be happy to talk to you. You can email me at clhogan@hotmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have been a court reporter for almost 20 years.  I have my RPR and am current with CEUs and attend conferences and keep up with the industry.  I am making a cross over from reporting to scoping and proofreading.  As a court reporter, I understand the need to meet deadlines and produce a quality transcript.  I worked both as an official court reporter and freelance.  My entire career was in Florida and I covered trials, hearings, depositions and reported for the Governor, House and Senate. I am now on the west coast and looking for scoping and proofreading work.  I am on Eclipse and have been for 20 yrs but am not opposed to purchasing a different edit station if the work/demands justify the expense.  I also am very computer literate and am interested in doing remote realtime, etc.  If you would like to speak to me or have additional questions, please feel free to contact me at kwoffordlegal@gmail.com

I am a seasoned proofreader who can help you get your work done quicker so that you can get it invoiced and get your money in!  I have been proofreading for 18 years and for ten years prior to that I worked in a family printing business where I proofed all the printed material (brochures, newsletters, etc.).  I also attended court reporting school for four years so I understand writing theory, familiar with briefs, took legal terminology classes, punctuation (Morson's Guide), etc.  I have recently lost some of my full time reporters who have either retired, got married, had kids, or just changed professions.  So I am looking for a couple of busy reporters to give me steady work.  My turnaround is quick, my rates are reasonable.  I print and proof, then scan back the pages that have corrections.  I work seven days a week.  I run a court reporting firm, have 13 full-time reporters, so I know the importance of keeping the client satisfied. I will help you do that.  On big jobs, you can feed me 50 pages at a time.  I'll help you get your rush jobs in on time!  I like to get a small job from you to start and let you see my work, and me see yours.  I know different reporters have different styles so I will adapt to your way of writing after a few jobs.  You can email me at maryajb2@aol.com if you have any questions.  Look forward to working with you!

Hello,

SPS, Scoping Proofreading Services, is ready to scope/proof for you!  Available 7 days a week.  SPS is able to scope/proof with CaseCAT or using Word (changes can be tracked in Word).  Pretty much any software system can use Word by converting their transcript into an RTF file.  SPS has experience with medical, technical, trials, commission board hearings, nursing board hearings, you name it!  Contact scopingproofreadingservices@gmail.com for more information.

Hello:  Need a proofer to help on a huge case I am working on.  Have been writing 300+ pages per day - 2 witnesses each day.  Slammed with work at the moment.  Help!  Prefer proofer who proofs on paper and scans back the pages for correction.
