Heaney Scoping Services is available for scoping on Case CATalyst version 11. I scope with or without audio. I am looking to form a great long-lasting reporter/scopist relationship. If you need extra help or personal time for this holiday season, I can help!

My mission is to scope your transcripts in a timely, accurate and professional manner. I will do that with my excellent organizational skills, attention to details, utilizing the Lillian Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters (LMEG) but, most importantly, according to your preferences.

My previous experience has been in the court reporting industry. These include:
· Attending court reporting school (180 wpm) and am able to read steno.
· Working for two of the most reputable court reporting firms in my area as production manager for the past 11 years.
· Creating and proofreading documents, e-mails and promotional materials.
· Receiving substantial training from the Scoping Made Affordable (SMA) course.
· Transcription and scoping of transcripts since 2009.

Please e-mail me at christyheaney@yahoo.com, if you are interested, to discuss my very affordable rates and turnaround time.

Thank you,

Christy

I can do relatively quick turn around work, and overnight as well. I listen to all audio, rather than just segments for clarification.
I am very flexible and willing to work with your needs.  Let me know what I can do for you.

I am willing to try to do what you need, if you are willing to try my services.

I am an Eclipse scopist with six years of experience, looking to take on a full-time or part-time reporter client. I always work with audio, pay close attention to detail, and am very resourceful and thorough in my research. I am willing to work rushes (rates apply), weekends, holidays, and even overnight if that's what it takes to meet the deadline. My background includes two years of college, military communications, small business ownership, and researching data for the U.S. Census. I am self-employed, and scoping work is my number one priority.
I was reporter-trained, and can provide excellent professional reference for my skill. Discounted rates apply on the first job. Please contact at jpwdave@hotmail.com for any inquiries.

Experienced scopist available for reporters utilizing Digital Cat, Eclipse, and Case Catalyst software.  I have been scoping for approximately five years and was reporter trained.  I scope word-for-word with audio.

Prior to scoping I was a paralegal and legal secretary for 15 years, with experience in all facets of the legal field.  As a paralegal, I have a strong grasp of legal terminology and have no qualms researching those words or areas that need to be researched.

I have scoped depositions, EUOs, arbitrations, official transcripts such as prelims, voir dire, and trials and subjects such as asbestos litigation, securities litigation, medical malpractice, etc.  No job is too simple or complex or too small or too big.

I am able to accept sound files via email in .dss format, .wav, .wma, or mp3 formats and will be happy to supply you with access to my file sharing account if you don’t already have an account.

I offer quick turnaround and competitive rates.  I also am able to accommodate dailies and expedite work.

If I can be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at the e-mail address below.  I look forward to hearing from you.

To My Prospective Employer:

My name is Pattie Walker.  I was a court reporting student from 1998 to 2001 when the school closed its doors.  During my education, I carried a 4.0 GPA in my academic courses; namely, grammar and punctuation.  I learned Sten-Ed theory, and I can read steno notes.

When I left school, I worked as a legal transcriptionist for the federal court system in Houston, McAllen, and California from 2001 to 2003.  I transcribed civil and criminal trials, hearings, pleadings, and bankruptcy proceedings.

I also worked as a medical transcriptionist from 2003 to 2005.  I transcribed for different specialties; to wit, chiropractic, orthopedic, psychiatric, ophthalmology, dental, neurosurgical, and cardiology.

Working both as a legal and medical transcriptionist, I achieved my goal of having a well-rounded view of all aspects of the legal field before I started my career of choice which is scoping.  I have been scoping since October of 2005.

I am currently utilizing Case CATalyst, Digital CAT, and Eclipse V4 and V5 software.

One of my many attributes is that I am a perfectionist.  I will make every effort to give you a sound work product in a timely manner.  My rates are reasonable, and I will meet turnaround times.

If I can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me via E-mail (pwalker18@comcast.net) or telephone (281-794-3177).

Sincerely,

Pattie Walker

I am working with one official reporter currently and I'm interested in adding more reporters to my client base. I worked as a freelance reporter for nine years.  I have the StenoCat 32 software, but I would be willing to discuss purchasing other software if there was enough work to justify that.  My rates are negotiable, depending on delivery times. References are available.

After 25 years as an Official Court Reporter, I took early retirement and I am interested in scoping for other reporters.  As an official, I covered all aspects of criminal and civil cases which would include any subject matter you can think of.  I have used StenoCat32/InSync for many years and stay updated when a new version is released.  My rate is extremely reasonable and my turnaround time would be at your pleasure.  I know what putting a transcipt out is all about as far as the time factor, accuracy and format.  I look forward to hearing from you at lolaur54@yahoo.com.  Thank you.
