Hi Erika! Good luck in school! I'm just a few hours away in Austin... went to school in Arlington. It's a great career. You're going to love it! Happy Bday!
Hi Erika. How are things going? What did you find out about tuition? I still haven't called them yet. Guess I need to do that. I just hate talking to those people..LOL I start classes on October 6th. I'll let you know how it goes.
Hey Erika!!! Sorry to just now be getting back with you, but I haven't checked this website in some time. I know...terrible :) How did you do in Speech? I bet you are glad that class is over. I haven't started my new school yet. First day of class is October 6th. I'm getting so excited. They are all so nice there. They make you feel like they really care and I think they really do care. LOL I will let you know how it is once I get started. CRID is telling me that I owe them $891.89. It's crazy and once again proving that they only care about money. If you drop within the first week of the semester, they charge you 10% of the ANNUAL tuition which is $10,264.00...so you would have to pay them $1,026.40!!! CRAZY!!!!! If you drop after two weeks it goes up to 20%. I believe if you drop within the first 72 hours, there is no penalty. Guess I should have checked into that.
LOL...You crack me up. I do the same thing. It is a little confusing when there is that comment box on our own home page.
Yes you do still get an associates. I think the majority of my classes will transfer. I am still waiting to hear back from CCR about which classes transfer. They are waiting to get my transcript from CRID (which may be never!!!). I will send you some information I got from a previous CRID student who is now enrolled with CCR. I have already been impressed with their explanation of my financial aid and how promptly they get back with you, either via email or telephone. They are all EXTREMELY helpful. I will just send you some stuff from them and you can see what I am talking about. I had two academics left with CRID. One of them was a class I couldn't take until in my 200-225.
I feel for you taking Speech and English especially because of those two teachers. If it hadn't been for my fiance, I would have failed speech. I wanted to quit last semester because it was HORRIBLE. Oh yeah...I forgot to email you and tell you all about those two classes...but I guess you are finding out now...LOL.
I am heading home from work to go to my fiance's house and paint, but I will forward that stuff either tonight or tomorrow.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Sherry! So, what is the difference with CCR's program? Do you still get an associates degree? Let me know. Ya know the Speech syllabus is crazy and kind of confusing. English, huh, she hasn't even posted any of our grades and I keep emailing the teacher and she says she is going to post them and this is week 5!!! Were you finished with all of your academics yet? Well Sherry, good luck and enjoy your break. Keep in touch!!! =)
