I've been a freelance reporter in Northern California since I passed my CSR (200 wpm) and Certificate of Merit (260 wpm) in November 1977. I purchased my first computer translation software,TomCAT, in 1980 and switched to Total Eclipse in May 2002. I am now a certified LiveNote reporter, an authorized Eclipse trainer, and a certified realtime reporter. I was one of only 20 reporters to pass this particular CRR, and it was my first time attempting it.
I have been reporting video/realtime/expedite depositions for other firms for the past four years. Because I am such an experienced and accurate reporter, I am able to provide a cleaned-up rough within 45 minutes after the conclusion of the deposition.
My working equipment includes a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone, wireless StenoCast RED, and four laptops with Bridge viewing software loaded for other attorneys to use during realtime depositions. I edit using realtime macros while I write, and those corrections of the realtime feed are being displayed on Bridge practically instantaneously.
I cover San Jose, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Santa Cruz - all of Silicon Valley. If there are two days of realtime depositions, I can travel up to San Francisco. I live in the resort town of Boulder Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Thanks, Jenny
It's nice to be home!!
Jenny, I will call again this week. Just want to chat and touch base...
Thanks, Jenny. Still scratching my head over this one but honored.
Hi Jenny,
How are you? I'm back to work and getting backlogged. Can you refer an Eclipse scopist? It's hit and miss with my previous scopist. Dealing w/info overload from the DRA conv. in NP Beach last weekend!
Thank you!
April
Jenny -- Thanks so much for the stable.com info. Great website! I'll pass it on.
I SO enjoy looking at the beautiful welcome message you sent me. I really
brings me cheer.
Thanks for the beautiful welcome -- now that's special!!
Really made my day : -)
I think about you often, and the thought brightens my day. You have taught me some great shortcuts and valuable lessons. You are the best!
I was thinking a Sunday would work out the best, not during the week when people are working. How about February 3? Does that work for you?
Jenny, when are you going to be up for getting some Eclipse reporters together at my house? I'm thinking about 10 would be a good number. If you charge us all 50 per hour, you could make a good amount of money. I was figuring three hours would be good.
