We tried to connect in 2009 and although I believe we eventually did speak, never ended up working together. At that time as an official in New York I had too much down time and was thinking of scoping. since then we have had many, many retirees, but very few hires so the work load increased dramatically and I pretty much have my hands full just getting my own work out.

I hope all is well with you. I believe that, small world that it is, you did some work at some time for Sandy Saunders agency, which was owned by my husband, and now my son.

The reason for contacting you is that my daughter, who used to be a free lance court reporter, is now scoping on Eclipse, V 6, so I am just looking to help her make some connections in the field. Have you tried magnumsteno.com for dictation?? Doesn't get much tougher, and since you've been around a couple years, it's probably right down your alley.

Hello again, Mark,
sent you an email direct to your blackberry. So it was a strange day. Very windy and cold at the beach and now going out to dinner. Hope to do something special tomorrow (not sure what!) so we'll probably reach each other during the work week. I do have to cover two days of a trial Tues and Wed so they might be full days. Hope we can touch base somewhere in there.

Sorry, I did not get your message until this morning or I would have called you yesterday. I will call you today, but you said you were in NYC all day so not sure you'll get the message. You can call me at work today if you like -- 646-386-3093. I have to report to the main office in a few minutes to see what the day will hold for me. if there's an assignment, I'll get it right away. If not, I have to stay there until 10 to see what other assignments come in and if none, then I can return to my desk and check my messages.
We should be able to have real contact soon...
