Our niece was Master of Ceremonies at her college fashion show. This was the best pic of the evening, I felt! Look at the lighting! The contrasts are SO smooth! Such a nice composition! Has NOTHING to do w/the subjects! (LOL)
A little on Flikr....I've got to look into that stock one. Transcripts take a lot of time, and I've looked into other stock sites, but seems to take some 'time' to get yourself going in them. I will check this one out tho....
Please tell me you are on flikr? if not you must join it.
also, you can sell your work istockphoto.com, fotolia.com.
People like me always buying art/photos to use on their sites.
Your a pro Rhoda!
I am actually pretty good but I dont use any pro equipment, I just have an eye for pausing beauty.
I can make anyone or anything look interesting. I just dont have the passion to pursue it.
Oh, I was also at 3600 ISO so no flash was being used. Probably a 250ss to stop the action, but a 5.6 f-stop, so had to watch my focus and get it tack on! :)
Thanks Monti! I actually have some lingerie models too, lol! Female. ;) It was a really great show, for college kids doing it all! I used my zoom lens and we sat off to the side, so the direct light coming from the end of the stage was on them, hence not traveling back. They had shut off the overheads on the guys and just used a spotlight. NO photoshop on this!!! :) I started out a film person, 35mm, in 1984 and really try to get my shots in-camera and not waste time in PS. I LOVE Lightroom!!! It is a MUCH better photog software program now after Version 2!
