...a magnetic peace sign given to me by my daughter. I've been seeing other vehicles with these magnetic peace signs on them, but I did not know where to get one. The ones I had seen were solid pastel colors.

My daughter knew I wanted one, and she found out where to buy them: Vermont Peace Works

She got me the tie-dyed one which looks really cool on my black stationwagon.

Here's a picture of them. They seem to be popular here on the East Coast. What can I say?! I'm a Woodstock alumni myself, and so the tie-dyed one is dreamy! :-)

She gave me some other gifts too, but this peace sign magnet is my favorite.

So what was your favorite holiday gift this year? Let's hear it!

My favorite gift this year was a lapdesk. In the mornings it's nice while nobody else is awake to work (or play) on my laptop in the living room but it was getting so hot. Thanks, Santa!!!

My favorite gift this year was being able to see my sons face light up when he received his gifts! Between work, pay cuts and the cost of school; I was not sure if Christmas for him was going to happen. I don't know about anyone else but 2009 has been a rough one! My gift will be finishing school this year, so I can become a hardworking Court Reporter like the rest of you!

May 2010 bring all of you health, happiness, peace and super fast fingers! Hehe

Firefly (brand) earrings. If you're interested you can order them from Craft Gallery.net. I LOVE their earrings. I have several pairs.

Also, I love my EggGenie. I like poached eggs and it makes the perfect poached egg. It's really easy. It has a little container you put the eggs in to poach. One thing they don't tell you, you might want to spray a little Pam in there before you poach the egg and that way they don't stick.

Tricia, it's good to see a fellow Woodstock alumni on this forum. Peace, baby!

My daughter told me about a peace sign that she could have gotten for me on the hood of my stationwagon. Though I really like it a lot, I guess it is a little too much. LOL

Oh, Janet, I sure could have used a snow blower last week. Man, I used muscles I didn't know I had. My body felt like I had been horseback riding for a solid week. We really got slammed with snow. I hear it's on its way again this week. LOL

That's a GREAT present, Janet. In fact, my birthday is coming up in February, and my boyfriend should get me something useful. Hmm....

Jennie,

Too bad you didn't have an old VW Bug to put them on!

Hi Jennie,

My favorite gift this year is the snow blower my BF gave me. Not the most romantic of gifts, but who cares? I have been shoveling snow for years out in the cold. The great thing about my gift is that I can look out of the window and watch him blowing all of the snow while I am warm and dry. It's a toy to him, freedom for me!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

They're so incredibly warm. Mine is actually pale pink with white and grey fur. They sold out of it on the website a long time ago. My mom ordered early. And the flaps can be clipped on the top so it looks like an all-fur hat. I love them. Have an OD green one too.

Wow, Rachel! That's cool. I have to admit that I did not know what a Mad Bomber hat was, and so I did a Google. That is so cute!
