I saw your comment on the SimplySteno Web site. I'm thinking of switching from going to school to an at-home program, save time and maybe money. I am workin gon 180/200 right now.
I was just wondering what other feedback you can give me about the program. I've never done a CR online program, only academics. I'm just trying to switch things up. I've been in school six years and stuck at speeds and I think I need a change of scenery.
I scope and proof from home, so I thought if I'm disciplined enough to do that, I should be able to do school from home.
My name is Danelle Young. I am a scopist/proofreader. I would be interested in doing some scoping or proofreading for you. Let me know if I can be of any help to you.
hello caryn RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" its a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts.
it doesn't support videos, unless its a link.
as always, its what i know, so i could very possibly be wrong.
hello caryn.
well, to answer your question about the benift of having friends on this site (i think of it more clientele/friends) is that lets say for example (you. a court reporter) have 2- 3 scopist friends that you have talked to on a personal level for sometime now and one day you needed a scopist for an emergency job, you can easily come to this site and look for them and since you have exchanged messages in the past you won't feel like you are jumping into cold water or unfamiliar territory, you already have a personal and a professional headstart from previous communications.
and if you are like some of the court reporters that do not use scopist then this site and the friends feature is just a purely "fun and a stay connected to the industry" type of thing.
Adding friends realy isn't a big eal, our most important tool is (hopefully) making your hunt for your perfect scopist easier.
I hope I answered your questions.
your friend monti :P

Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Those ballet videos are pretty awesome. Are you in any of those? :)

I'm confused. Did you move back to California? I thought you lived in New Jersey when we met at the New York convention.
Anyway, it's nice to see you here. Are you staying busy with reporting?
