Hi, users,
it was recommended instead of sending as ASCII to send the file PDF. Can someone tell me how to do that?

Thanks.

You download a free program. There are two that I know of offhand: CutePDF Writer and PDFCreator. (I prefer PDFCreator)
Then in your document, which could be Word or Eclipse or whatever program, hit PRINT. Then choose PDFCreator as the printer. It will ask you to save it to a location. Voila! Better to send a pdf since the text can't be changed -unless someone has the expensive $350 version.
Here's a download link: http://download.cnet.com/PDFCreator/3000-2064_4-10558866.html

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I AM DOWNLOADING PDF CREATOR, THEN I WILL TRY TO DO MY PDF. THANKS SO MUCH. I'LL LET YOU KNOW IF THIS WORKS!!!

YOU'RE SO AWESOME. I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!
Alt-O to print. Click Setup. Choose Cute PDF or PDF Creator (whichever you loaded with Eclipse). Print as usual. It will save to your desktop, probably. Email with the PDF attached. Easy-peasy!
Thank you so much for your reply. I am dowloading the PDF Creator then trying it. Thanks so much!
Cute PDF should have come with the Eclipse CD. I have both loaded, and I'm sure I didn't download separately. Either way, though, they work great!
Brenda,
You're right! I do remember that now! Might be an older version, though, but that's absolutely correct!

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME. THANKS SO MUCH! I AM FORWARDING THIS INFORMATION TO THE REST OF THE OFFICIAL REPORTERS IN MY COUNTY.

:-)
You have to have the Cute PDF maker. I had to download it from the Eclipse update section. Then when you go to print, you choose the Cute PDF instead of an actual printer, and it will create an Adobe-type file that is a true PDF.
