Has anyone done this on his/her own?  Is it easy/complicated? What all is involved? Is it as simple as putting in a CD/DVD?  I'm thinking it's a bit more involved than that.

I'm considering doing it, but just wondering if anyone has had experience doing the upgrade.

Thanks.

Quyen,

I haven't "upgraded" the way I'm reading what you wrote, i.e., loading Win7 onto a PC that already has Vista.  I have, however, gotten a new computer that had Win7.  I was used to XP, but I simply love Win7.  The only difference I had was that my USB to serial wouldn't work.  I had to buy a Keyspan.  When I did, it was seamless.

Yes, I meant putting W7 onto a computer with Vista.  My Vista is a 32-bit, so it would be bogged down.  Not worth it, I guess.  I'll just wait until my HP from Costco gets here and just leave this one alone.
