Welcome to CSR Nation
I'm getting shafted by two agencies for payment. One is a job turned in June of 2011 and one is December 2011. Any suggestions on how to get payment? What's worked for you besides small claims?

Several firms threatened to sue so Kelli started "Have You Heard of?"
I think small claims seems to work pretty well. I've seen several people post that once they start the process, they get paid pretty quickly.
I'm one of them. I filed a small claims case against an agency and finally got payment once they were served. There is a group called "Have you ever heard of...." and you can post there about any agency you have questions about.
The owner of DCR Litigation was giving me a hard time and threatening to sue me because people were commenting poorly about her agency. Whatever.
Kelli, glad you don't duck and cover.
Hi, Cynthia. I've only had one agency in a dozen years that hasn't paid me in 30 to 45 days. That agency was DepoPro out of Los Angeles. There were extenuating circumstances, and I made concessions for that ... then it got ridiculous. I finally turned it over to Dawn at JMS Associates (http://jms-associates.net/) and she did a great job collecting. I think you're looking for a way to get your money without having to spend time and treasure doing it, but those agencies who do not respect reporters when they ask you to take the job will certainly not respect or listen to anything you're going to say in trying to collect. Sometimes you've got to put it in someone else's hands. Good luck.
M.A.
DepoPro was the one I had to take to Small Claims Court too. Not sure they're even in business anymore.
