Need help with a word, please

I can't find this word, "neurogenurgic."

This is the definition I find for SNRI.

Of course it is a videotape.  Anybody have any thoughts?

SNRI stands for both selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (the only drug of this type being Strattera, which is not an antidepressant) and serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. SSNRI stands for selective serotonin norepinephrine inhibitor but, as stated, is being used less and less.

Q. What is Wellbutrin?
A. It's in the class of an SS -- sorry, SNRI, a selective neurogenurgic (as spoken) reuptake inhibitor.

Janiece, I'm pretty sure it's neurogenic.  You know how doctors flub medical terms all the time, and send us into a tizzy findings words that don't exist!

Well, I guess that's your call, but I would just put neurogenic because it is an actual word, and we all trip over our words sometimes, and I would not want to make a doctor (I'm guessing testifying as an expert) look bad.

Thank you, Mary, but all I did was put in the phonetic spelling of what Janiece had into google search and it came up.  Lately Google has been good to me when searching.

The last attorney (board certified - top in his class) I worked for as a legal assistant, I gave him a draft document (about five pages).  A nice clean draft.  One of the words was difficult on the tape - so I did a guestimate word, put it in bold.  I figured he was reviewing and he would figure it out.  He was pissed.  As he said, if it's not in the dictionary, it's not a word.  You don't do that to my documents. 

 

Everyone should have a good learning medical terminology textbook.  They teach you beginnings, main roots (such as neuro), and endings of medical terms.

Yeah, well, every attorney should be taught to speak clearly and not be a mush-mouth and to pronounce things correctly.

It would be great if they would learn to speak one at a time too.  LOL
