Welcome to CSR Nation
We all know how sedentary this job can be. I sit for hours upon hours behind this desk with no exercise. I've decided I'll just proof my jobs while walking for four or five hours. This way I'm killing two birds with one stone; getting exercise and getting work done at the same time.
I've been wanting to get one of these for a long, long time. .
Here's the link to what I bought. http://www.amazon.com/LifeSpan-Fitness-TR1200-DT-Treadmill-Desk/dp/...

$1500? When I clicked on the link, the item shown is $479.
Wonder if they have something like that for a spin bike??? Sweat 'n scope! LOL
They do have a spin bike one. Someone actually posted it on this website in another discussion. It looked pretty cool. It was also a lot cheaper, about 400.
Yeah, I think I put in the wrong link. It's actually 1299.00. I corrected it. I thought the table was larger, though, The one for 400, I wasn't sure that comes with the treadmill. Wasn't clear to me.
Wow, Kelli, I didn't even know this product existed. Very cool. I think you will love it.
M u s t h a v e.
I was watching a program about this guy who designed a desk like this and is implementing them in businesses. He says you burn 150 calories an hour walking on a treadmill. I figure I proof sitting down about five to six hours, especially on the weekend. So 150 times five hours....750 calories. That's pretty good.
I had better like it or my husband will be pissed since I spent so much money on it. LOL
And what a great business expense! ;-)
Oh, I didn't even think of that reason. So true - it's a write-off.
Awesome, Kelli. I didn't know these existed either. Let us know how well it works. What a great idea. Going to have to look into that!
That's a great idea! I didn't know such a thing existed. On my list.
I just saw a commercial last night for an elliptical on wheels for the outdoors. Kind of interesting. Didn't like the helmet idea though (I'm from the old school and have plenty of scars to prove it). Wonder when it will become an Olympic event.
Let us know how it works out. I am still thinking of getting the Fit Desk, cheaper than yours but not as sophisticated a piece of equipment as yours either.
I love it! Wish it wasn't so pricy!
