Help with Notepad++ Program

HELP???  I am reaching out to a CSR because I need some help with
Notepad++.  How do I find out a few things about it?  I work in
Microsoft Word, but I have a client that is requesting her transcripts
to be transcribed in this program.  Also, I saw a drop down on the
website for transcribing, was that for an ad to be placed and are
people looking for transcription services?
