Welcome to CSR Nation
As you all know, we have to look professional when we go to work. I love to dress up. I bet I spend close to 12,000 a year on clothes alone. My husband has no clue - have my own credit card that he doesn't see. I pride myself on looking the best I can possibly look on my jobs. I feel I get a lot more respect when I look sharp. I can really tell a difference.
Anyways, I found this website called Modcloth that is just really great. I am posting two URLs of two dresses I just bought there this weekend. I'm hoping the rest of you will like the clothes as much as I do. I am a huge polka dot fan and would have everything in polka dots if I could. Anyways, here are two dresses I got. There are many, many more here.
What I like about the website on reviews is people put what their bust size is and waist and hips and then a comment. That helps me decide which ones to read because I'm a size 6 with D sized chest and a lot of times clothes don't always look that great if you have a large chest. I have to be very careful. It helps to know what size someone is when reviewing what they have to say about an outfit. They also post pictures of themselves in the outfit, which is very cool.
Let me know what you think.

The "power" dress/outfit. Very sharp. Kel, get a single-breasted blazer, then you can wear it open. I feel so restricted with blazers closed. I never button mine, don't like to.
This specific dress is way too low-cut to wear open. Couldn't do it. Maybe with the first red dress I had on but not this one. I have enough hard time keeping the girls in this dress as it is!
Another perfect day-to-evening look. :)
You must have an amazing closet!
Not for work with the jacket either because if I can't take off a jacket in a boiling room, I'd go nuts!
Very pretty dress, Kelli, although not for work, in my opinion.
As an aside, have you noticed how revealing the dresses of TV meteorologists have become? In the Northeast Corridor, TV meteorologists have gone from wearing blouses and business suits to extremely Qiana-like dresses, Diane von Furstenburg wrap-type dresses. Remember Qiana, you ladies of the '70s? The present meteorologists' dresses are extremely tight, and, most of the year, they are sleeveless and extremely form-fitting. It is 20 degrees on the East Coast, and these gals are wearing sleeveless, tight dresses in the TV studio.
And what are the male meteorologists wearing? Shirts and business suits.
Sorry to get off-track.
Ratings, baby!! At least that's all I can assume it's about. I know the last outfit I posted was supposed to be formal to unformal in the same outfit. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. You know on television it's all about ratings and men will tune in wherever the hot women are wearing those outfits.
Also, Deanna, if you notice at the top of the last picture I mention without the jacket, this dress is not appropriate for work.
I love this site. Buy one suit, get three free. This is one of the suits I plan on getting.
Melissa, how can they afford to give away free suits? That's crazy. Nice outfit. You should post it on you when you get it. I think it's important for students to see how you should dress for work. I know lots of students belong here and may be reading this.
I don't know how they can offer the other dresses for free. I will post pictures when I receive. I have also ordered this one in the red multi. http://www.chadwicks.com/item/40090/400000/colorblock-jacketdress-m.... I love looking sharp and professional for work.
That's a super cute dress. Love the green/blue one too. I'll have to check out this Chadwicks website too. Looks like they have some cool stuff.
