Oh My God, So sad!! My heart goes out to his family.
Heart breaking :(
Why would someone burn another fellow human being? what a sad sad world we live in.
Wow, thank you for saying all that. I never thought of it that way but you are right. We don't know what their story is and maybe showing some kindness can make a difference in their life because maybe they don't have any family or anyone looking imn on them. Thank you again for opening my eyes
Susanne just told me that America's Most Wanted will have a segment about her brother on November 1st. And today they're releasing a composite sketch and circulating it in the neighborhood, so keep your eyes peeled and your fingers crossed.

Such a sad story.
There are certainly some very evil people in this world.
Awful :(
I am very sorry to hear about the lost or your brother. I am a court reporter and also a family educator with the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill where we hear stories like this from people from all walks of life and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your brother suffered from a chemical disorder which perhaps was never fully treated. It sounds like you are a great supportive sister and I wish you the very best in the future. Anita T. I saw the segment on America's Most Wanted last Saturday night. I am extremely saddened by such an evil act of hatred. I am, however, grateful that this heinous act did not go unnoticed, and I'm hopeful that someone will soon step forward who can assist in punishing those responsible.
The America's Most Wanted episode featuring John McGraham, Susanne Paisley's brother, was excellent. They paid a great tribute to an obviously loved and cared-about man. And Susanne was very composed, articulate, and impassioned in her interview. She did a great job.

They had a sketch of the killer on the episode which I really hope helps brings the killer to justice.

I just got this email from Susanne:

Dear Friends:
As you know my brother John was set on fire and murdered on October 9th of last year. I have just been informed by the Los Angeles Police Department that the person who murdered him was arrested just a few hours ago! The detective on the case has assured us that he is not only the killer but they indeed have substantial evidence for prosecuting him.

I wish to thank each of you for your thoughts, prayers and kindness during this time. Of course, it is bittersweet for our family--wondering what story will unfold about the killer and what motivated him to do something so cruel to our brother. In the end though we see this as a real miracle that the murderer has been brought to justice. The community in which he lived was a tremendous help and of course we had the very best of detectives on the case.

Again, thank you so very much for your support and kindness. May our news inspire you to have faith and hope. There will be a press conference in the next few days that will provide details I have been asked not to share at this time.

With gratitude,
Susanne McGraham Paisley
