I just got an Olympus WS-321M from ecost.com at a great deal. This thing is incredible! A recorder/flash drive/music player, lol!

Of course, my new bag is on my blog. ;)

And my ampliphier cannot be beat! Got the info from the Compuserve site.

The storage bag off of my Stenograph table....which was a cool gadget when I had to have my laptop with me. Don't miss that laptop, LOL!

A waterbottle keychain 'holder' that fits around the neck of my tripod to carry it, if my bag is too full to fit it. Well, my old bag anyway!

I have put myself on a spending freeze though! But this is something I will consider, for sure! I have too many stickers that I will use up first, LOL. But Staples had a good price on this. Rho
oh, Mysci! The auto numbering, up on the toolbar where it has 123 with an arrow underneath? highlight your number on the sticker and then click that 123; it will automatically advance the number after that. Just set your default to 1. At 10, you have to go in and highlight the number, type in 10, and it will go on up to 99.
I think I do. Try View and Toolbars. The ones I have checked are Standard and Draw. The 123 are grayed out until you highlight a number.

You have saved your exhibit label layout, right, so you don't have to recreate it every time? Just add the deponent's name? I click the A on the left and add the name that way.
I didn't look for yellow. Are you using yellow? I've just been using the white, but I've been thinking about the yellow. I thought it was . . . too bright. But I'm open to suggestion. :) Do you like it?
Kelli, this very model is on sale at buy.com for $41, I think, and free shipping. I ordered the continuous tape -- which you really need for the exhibit stickers -- from dobermanlabels.com. They're cheaper there.

This freeware I have found GREAT for transfering files to my portable storage drive, or from transfering from my flash drive into Case. It opens 'two' Explorer-type windows so you just open 'each' folder and click/drag. No need to open two My Computer windows.

If you scroll to the bottom of his review at this link, he has the link to download it.

you guys have already named my favorites! The audio extension cord that Rhoda mentioned, I use that for video depos -- hand it to the videographer, have a male-male cable and plug it into my computer and instant audio feed from the video guy!
By far my favorite gadget is Neat Receipts scanner. You can put it in your bag, attaches to your computer with USB cable, no power cord. You can scan in business cards, receipts and even an 8 1/2X11 sheet of paper if necessary. Haven't tried it might be kind of slow. But business cards get scanned in and it captures all the info on the card and places it in the right place in a database that you can search. Receipts can be scanned and put into Quicken or Quickbooks. I got mine at Costco for $150 and it's really worth it. I think you can even order it online and they'll ship it free.
I was waiting to see if anyone used one of these scanners. I would love to scan papers, lol.

This thread may be 'expensive'! ;)

I browsed Amazon for some reviews and wanted to share these....I would love a portable scanner!
Speaking of exhibit stickers, I too have done away with those pesky things, but I went to Office Depot and had them make me a self-inking stamp. It works wonderfully and the attorneys really like it too.
