I'm curious about this.  My rates are about the same as Nancy Illian's (her rates of $1.25/pg for 5-7 day turnaround).  I was a court reporter for 14 years .  Now due to health issues, I'm proofreading for depo reporters.  I have Word 2010.  I can't go over $800 a month, due to social security requirements.  Maybe we can discuss this.
