I am new to CSR Nation, have been accepting jobs and working for different folks.  Have you ever had that gut feeling that you won't get paid for that $1500 job you just labored over and turned in?  What recourse do reporters have, short of small claims court, to make sure they are paid for their hard work from the agencies they help out through CSR Nation?  How can I find out what agencies are ethical and which are not?  Yelp, maybe? I guess it's too much to ask to be paid the approx. $50 owed to me by a certain reporter from LA for scoping. I'm not even getting responses to my e-mails. Initials are L.T-W. 

It's been incredibly slow in So. Florida!  I had a depo. call in for me today!  The attorney said he had to move to cut his monthly expenses because business has been slow.  Whenever I complain about not working, my friends ask how it can be true and aren't people sueing, etc.  I work for two agencies and both have been very slow!

So my first job as a working reporter is a hearing. I've heard that hearings are generally short, and that's about all I know. What should I expect in a hearing? Is there anything "special" I need to do beforehand to be prepared? Thanks in advance for all your help.
