Merry Christmas to all of my new friends! My family shared our Christmas morning with two new members, Chad, my daughter Bethany's friend who is a Marine (whorah!) from Pennsylvania and is stationed here at Camp Pendelton (but wants to be in Iraq!) and Joey, my oldest daughter's boyfriend (future son-in-law). We had a wonderful morning opening up gifts, but my son, Mark, kind of got the short end of the stick this year. His Playstation game (an older version of Bugs Bunny) didn't work, and I got him the wrong version of Walker Texas Ranger CD series (long sigh). I tried to find the one he wanted (Season 6), but Best Buy and everybody else were out. Please pray that I find it this weekend so that he can at last be happy and I can get out of the dog house. So, to make amends, Stephen & I are taking him up to the mountains (Lake Arrowhead) to view the snow and have a late lunch there. He'll like that. It's windy right now and I hope I don't get car sick going up there. I'm going to sneak out of work (yes, I have to be at work today) early because my boss is gone and the guys are taking the day off (hehe) so....here I go. Yep, I have a great job. So to all of my friends, old and new, a very, merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Stay safe and God bless all of you.
