Any TV shows or movies you can recommend?

Well, work is winding down so I'm actually having some time to watch TV at night.  Last night I started watching Downton Abbey.  It's a series that is currently on PBS.  I think it's in season 3 on TV.  I am starting from episode 1 and streaming it on Netflix.  OMG, it's really good.  It's a total thumbs up.  How about you?  Have you seen anything you would like to share?

I've never really been able to get into spy shows at all; they go too fast and I get confused as to what is going on.  I don't watch the Bourne Series either for that reason.

Kelli, have you ever watched "Burn Notice" ...? Yes, it's been canceled, but it might be worth a look anyway. They explain stuff as they go along, and some of that stuff turns up in other shows. You'd be amazed what one can do with a cell phone!

I'm also tempted to recommend the Canadian series, "XIII," but that one *REALLY* moves along at a fast clip.

Maybe finish watching all five seasons of "Burn Notice" first ...

Downton Abbey's fourth season is really good, better than the third, I think.  I hope we get another season of it.

I am watching The Vikings on The History Channel.  Very bloody, but interesting.

I am also enjoying "The Americans" on Fx.

I've been watching "The Walking Dead" about zombies.  Pretty good even if it sounds crazy.

Just finished watching True Detective with Matthew McConnahey and Woody Harrelson.   Very dark subject matter but the acting is totally amazing!  Good bromance set in Louisiana.  I think it's 9 episodes on HBO.  This show will win lots of awards, I bet.

I just watched the first episode of a TV series called Fargo on Fx.  It is based on the movie Fargo.  It is very bloody but the acting is great.

Oh, Janiece, I loved the movie Fargo.  Is it anything like the movie?  I'll have to check it out.  I've been waiting for a good series to come along.  After Breaking Bad went off the air, nothing has even come close again.

If you like the movie Fargo, I think you will like the series.  It is not the same story but similar.  I agree.  I think Breaking Bad is the best series I've ever seen.

Did you watch Lost? We just finished watching that a few weeks ago.  That was a good show.   That kept us busy for a while. 

Is Fargo on Netflix?
