I would have loved to have been there, but couldn't make it. Was in an all-day job and have a rush to work on tonight; so don't have time to watch the broadcast. Did the motion to resind pass or fail?

Marge,

Thanks for posting this after a long journey like you had. I don't blame you for being ticked off. I agree with the WAKE-UP CALL. Too many reporters are either ignorant of what's going on or too complacent.

Marge,

I tried to log on and it didn't like any of my info. I figured it would be the same info I've ALWAYS logged on with. Luckily, when I sent away for my username and password, I did get info back. I have no idea where they got that username and password, though, as I had never even seen it before, much less used it to log on to either the Web site or the Forum.
I believe the user name and password were unique for voting purposes only. I did not use my normal NCRA user name and password either. I just hit the button to request one and they sent it to me within seconds.
Judy,

The same thing happened to me when I tried to log on. It felt like they were trying to make it harder to vote.........here's to a new year.
Marge,

I HAD THE SAME COMPUTER GLITCH!! Now, I'm wondering if it was "really" a computer glitch??
AAAGGGHHH
IF YOU COULD NOT VOTE, YOU MUST GO ON THE NCRA FORUM AND SAY SO!!!

Look for the thread I started called "I COULD NOT VOTE ONLINE"!!
Do you think that's why only 10% of the members voted, because they couldn't log on?
It was rigged! They set it up that way! Haha!
Judy, Did you read that, that only 10% of members voted online? If so, that is truly awful. There was a 12-hour window to vote!
Marge,

It's on the opening page of NCRAonline.org

"The total number of ballots cast in online voting was, 1,448, or approximately 10.3% of the total number of eligible voting members."

Pretty sad numbers.
I think that number is even higher than last year. Last year was something like 6 or 8%, I think. Also, if you consider the number of people in the years past that actually show up and vote at the annual meetings, the numbers are even worse!!!
Wow, just 10.3% voted. That's awful.

I was NOT one of the eligible members who voted. I wonder how many others tried but could not vote online.
