The -D is too hard for me to reach with that combination (I have short little fingers) since I would write NINKED like N*INKD, and I can see myself shadowing or misstroking that all the time. But I like NINK, N*INK, so I will go with that.  Thanks!

Just positioning my fingers, how about NINKD?

Anyone have a brief for LinkedIn? I've had that come up often enough lately where a dix entry is necessary. L*IN is all the variations for Lynn, Lynne, Lin, etc.

While we're at it,

VAER - inventor

VAENGS - invention

VAERP - inventorship

EUP- intellectual property

KLUKZ - claim construction

FRIS - file history

PRART - prior art

FRARP - file wrapper

OUB - obvious

OUBS - obviousness

PAOENT - patentee

SPAOUT - patent-in-suit

SPAOUTS - patents-in-suit

I write patent - PAENT and add an * for patentee - PA*ENT.  I write pantie, which almost never comes up as two strokes (PANT/AOE), or if the word patent and pantie are not in the same job, I simply write pantie the same (PAENT) and define it for that job as such

Any ideas for "patentee"?

Comment by Janiece Young on December 16, 2012 at 7:03

Janet, that sounds great.  Thank you.

I do P-NT, Janiece.  PIMT for patent infringement.

Does anyone have a brief for "patent"?  I thought of PAENT but I think that's how I write pantie, which so far has not come up much, but you never know..... :-)
