If she deleted her account, which she said she was going to do, that action would delete her posts also.
Sam, I saw Christi's message from earlier. It might have been deleted.
I actually get two emails every time there's a post. Don't know why as I only have one email address listed, but it comes to both my new email and my old email that is forwarded to my new email. I just got an emails saying Quyen, Kelli, Christi and Janet had posted a message. When I click on the link, I see the message from everyone EXCEPT Christi. So where's Christi's message after Quyen's and Kelli's? I guess it's only hidden from the brain surgeons.
I can probably count on two hands the number of times I've been on this site since it moved from it's previous place and the big split between Monte and Kelli, was it? Not sure. The only reason I really belong is for the cover depos work that may come through, but that has been sorely lacking since the site was MIA for so long and then reincarnated.
A further explanation, when someone uses the Send Message icon, the link in the e-mail simply says Visit Brief Group at, etc. That is a link to the group. That indicates it is strictly an e-mail message; no post on the wall.
Visit Brief Group at: http://csrnation.ning.com/groups/group/show?id=1736041%3AGroup%3A1113748&xg_source=msg_mes_group
When there is an actual comment posted, the link will appear as follows:
To view the new comment, visit: http://csrnation.ning.com/group/briefgroup?commentId=1736041%3AComment%3A1217426&xg_source=msg_com_group
Excuse me, but I don't use the website but on a VERY rare occasion because of the frustration of not being able to see a message or the replies when I click on the link. I don't have a lot of time to spend perusing the sites, so I only go looking when I get an email. Then when I can't find the message or the ensuing discussion, I just leave. Maybe that's why I haven't figured it out by now.
How long have these people used this website now? You would think it would have been figured out by now. Not brain surgery.
Sam and others having trouble viewing new messages: I find this happens to me in ALL posts. BUT . . . it's a simple fix. If you see a message by e-mail and go to the page and it's not there, just refresh the tab/page and the message will show up. But like Janet said, if it's simply just not there, then the person probably sent out an e-mail blast to the group and didn't post a comment.
I made a typo in my post and then reposted it. There's no mystery about messages here.
The reason you're not seeing some messages here is because they weren't posts made on the Comment Wall or Discussion Forum. Some people choose to send a message to the group by using the Send Message icon up at the top of the page . Those do not appear here in the Comment Wall or in the Discussion Forum. Those are strictly e-mails to group members.
If you reply to the e-mailed question here, everyone who has their settings checked to receive an e-mail when someone posts to your groups will receive an e-mail that someone has posted.
I hope that answered your question, Sam. If you want your question posted on the group page, either create a discussion or simply add a comment to the Comment Wall.
