Hey, all,

I'd like to recommend www.refdesk.com.  It's a site that's packed full of categories of useful information including facts/internet, social sciences, applied & natural sciences, arts & entertainment, literature, philosophy, language, religion, and geography & history.  It's a wonderful site with more nuggets of useful information than I've been able to find in one spot anywhere else.  I hope you guys find it useful.

Oh, and I also have become a member of LinkedIn, a group which I find particularly useful when checking the spellings of names and companies.

Best of luck, all.

I haven't really used this site, but you could try the Better Business Bureau at http://www.bbb.org/us/Find-Business-Reviews/

There you can search for a business name. You have the option to search via the address, city, state, or ZIP as well.

The search results are not limited to businesses that are members of the BBB. It gives you the location info as well as the type of business and some pertinent names, which may help you verify it is indeed the business you need and not another business with that name.

I am having such hard time finding most things I am looking for. Does anyone have a good way to search for just general names of businesses and things that will turn up more? Thanks.

I was reading a little google news a moment ago and I came across an article

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/05/27/AR2009052703653.html

Search Google and Wikipedia at the Same Time With Googlepedia Browser Add-on

I added it to my browser just now and google searched information on my most recent deponent... low and behold a ton more information popped up on him than I had gotten researching him earlier in the day/week.

I hope somebody else finds it useful. CSR nation was the first place I thought of when I decided I had to share it. This is a brand new application!
