Stentura freezing up

I just purchased a Stentura 8000LX. I will be a returning student and the last time i used a writer was back in the 90's. So I am having all kinds of problems with getting to understand this computerized technology. I've had so many problems the Stentura so far, actually I had to send the first one back and I just received the 2nd one today.
The first one had some hardware problems, for one it would not format the diskette and it would not connect to Digitalcat at all. So far this one I have now is doing fine but when I went to load a dictionary, it proceeded to remove the dictionary already programed; and as soon as it got to 47% it would freeze up. I tried in several times and it kept doing the same thing. Is anyone familar with this ever happening to them?
