Does anyone know how you go in and tell AutoBrief you don't want it to suggest a certain stroke?  I have done it before but now I can't remember what I did.  I am having a hard time writing FPB and AutoBrief suggests it all the time.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.

I am not sure when this post was made but I attended the Eclipse Webinar on Tuesday night, and Anastasia said to put a minus and then the letters you do not want it to suggest.  I have done that successfully except for two areas.  I thought perhaps we had to have another minus to indicate right side of the keyboard, but Anastasia said only the minus sign and the letters with no spaces will work.

I was going to post my question separately, but since it's related, I'll do it here.  Can anyone tell me how to program Autobrief not to suggest words with dashes?  As I write all day, the witness or attorney will invariably make an incomplete thought, and I will use dashes.  AB then suggests these over and over and over!  Ugh!  I get that--, of--, he--, if--   I have a minus before the dash symbol (actually two different ways) and it still suggests them!  And I also have a minus before the GSD, and it still suggest the GSD ending.

Stephanie, which version are you on?  I remember the dash thing happening before, but not for a while now.  Do you ever use -SD?  I don't.  I have -SD in my list and it's never suggested in any form.

Anastasia is right in that the minus side doesn't refer to side of keyboard; it's just - for "don't use this."

Kelli, I am not postiive, but I recall something about you global the FPB in your personal dix as FPB - that way auto brief thinks it is used already.

Hope that helps - ;-)
