A few years ago, I posted how to change the logo, but in V5 the directions are slightly different.

Here’s how to do it.  First close out of Eclipse if it is open.

In the C: drive of your computer, open the “Program Files” folder.  If you have a 64-bit computer, open the Program Files (x86) folder.  Open the “Advantage Software” folder and you will find the “Eclipse” folder. That is the folder that you want to open to make a small change.

Once you’ve opened the “Eclipse” folder, you can find the Splash.jpg file. Don’t delete that file, but just go ahead and rename it as “Old Splash.jpg.”  The shortcut to rename is F2.

Now locate your favorite JPEG image file and copy and paste it into that Eclipse folder. Rename that pic to “Splash.jpg.” Once the Eclipse folder contains your favorite image file, and that file is called “Splash.jpg,” then Eclipse will display that instead of the familiar diamond logo.

Just did it.  That is too cool.  Some of my pics were way too big and wouldn't work or spread way out on the screen to where it was way too big to see it, but one that I took with my phone worked just fine.

Thanks!

I have a program where I can resize my pics.  Maybe Picasa and other free programs will do that as well.  I know we'd all love to see everyone's splash screens.  I would, anyway!  Do a print screen of your computer and post it when you have some time!

File was too big to imbed here but I attached a PDF.  This was last December when we were out for my hubby's 42nd birthday!  Wow, time flies.
